hi everyone got this motherboard with ripped edp connector and traces rebuilded them and soldered a new edp connector but no image laptop seems like turn on because bloq mayus led turn on when key is pressed measured all pins and nothing looks wrong when measured while laptop was turned on i´ve realized that edp_hpd, LCD_BKLTEN_PCH and LCD_BL_PWM_PCH are geting low voltage values instead of 1v, 3 and 2.5 for a have been looking on schematics, those signals come from chipset so its chipset damaged? i have tested flex, screen on other laptop and both work so where should i start to look at? i havent tried to load windows because theres no image trought hdmi on bios, should reprogram bios? someone have measurements of the edp connector from a similar motherboard? so would me make sure that rebuild of traces was performed well thanks in advance ill attach an image of the motherboard |

if EDP_HPD (2.5-3.5v) appears, then the board saw the matrix |

Serguz05 hi tanks for your response thats the problem, why the board isnt detecting the matrix? where could i start to look on the board? i've already tested connection betwen the edp connector and the display and all pins have conection from where comes the trigger for edp_hpd? edp_hpd comes from display? grettings |

edp hpd is produced by the matrix itself. what is the resistance on the signals EDP_AU..., EDP_TX... on the capacitors from the processor. Вложение: f1.JPG

Serguz05 ok ill check and post results tanks ---------- Добавлено спустя 19 минут 30 секунд: ---------- Serguz05 so i measured edp aux have 425 in diode mode from cpu to capacitor in both edp aux n and p all edp tx have 270 value in diode mode theres no broken link betwen capacitor and connector |

so i was able to repair the laptop the problem was a short betwen edp_hp and LCD_BKLTEN_PCH now im facing 3 more problems that i will explain in a new post thank you all greetings |
